The Stuff of Miracles

| September 10, 2023

I have a story to tell! It's a story about how Jesus shows up in unexpected ways, at unexpected times, and does unexpected things ... It's a story about how Jesus leveled my expectations of him as I watched him work in my body, and in all the folks around me. He taught me how to ground all I know of healing solidly in truth. My story is one of healing, cellular and soulular, beautifully in process and full of hope. Friends, Jesus still works miracles. Jesus heals, and he is my healer. I can't wait to share with you what's he's been doing in my life lately. I sure hope I see you Sunday! ~ Heather

Thomas

| April 3, 2022

Here's a tough and stark question: If God exists, why doesn’t he make his presence more easily known? Why doesn’t he give us more tangible, verifiable evidence? Wouldn’t it be easier for us to just "know," rather than requiring us to come by faith? These are hard but good questions to wrestle with, and we do so in good company. People throughout history have come to Christ holding doubt and faith in the same hand. And yet, from the beginning -- ever since God revealed himself to the world -- we have the witness of himself to the world -- we have the witness of those who saw with their eyes and believed in their hearts that the resurrected Christ is Lord and God. As we walk toward Easter and the most dramatic event in history, let's hear their eyewitness accounts, and find fresh faith for a new season.

A Common Table

| November 7, 2021

Folks, I can't wait to be with you around the Table and around our tables this Sunday! We will come together at 10:30a for ONE COMBINED WORSHIP SERVICE this Sunday. We will remember the story of Jesus' last meal on earth, experience holy communion as a family, then spread out around town to enjoy meals and conversations around each others' tables. What a pleasure it will be to be in each others' homes again! What a joy to just enjoy each other! I'm so looking forward to this time together. And if you can't make a meal, come to worship anyway. We want you with us in whatever way you can be with us, as we celebrate this common life!

Prayer in Communion

| October 10, 2021

We finish our series of messages on prayer by listening in on Jesus' prayer in John 17. We'll learn how to pray specifically for those God gives us, but so much more. We'll learn to pray prayers that transcend our own needs. We'll learn how to use prayer to set the table for joy, for the gospel message, for deep fellowship, for lasting communion, for glory.

Everyday Joy

| November 8, 2020

Biblical joy is not rooted in our circumstances. It is rooted in Christ's presence. Jesus himself told us that he came that his joy might be in us, so that our joy would be full (John 15:11). This ought to come as good news! No matter what 2020 throws at us, we can still have joy in our lives. For the next three Sundays, we'll talk about how to access biblical joy in our everyday lives.
