Sermons by: Mike Barr
This week, we will witness a move of the Spirit through Mike Barr's testimony.
This week, we continue our series on prayer with the beautiful passage from Philippians that contains Paul's loving prayer over the church. In only eight verses, Paul teaches us what It means to love biblically. Paul's longing and desires for the early church are the same longings and desires God holds in his heart for us, that we love one another as God has loved us.
When things are hard, it is easy to miss the sound of God's voice as he leads us out of exile. At times like that, we need a little more to get our attention and bring our focus back to the one true God. This week, we'll learn how God offers us proof of his goodness in the promise of his provision through signs that lead the way forward.
This Sunday we continue to explore the messages of the minor prophets. The prophet Habbakuk calls us to a kind of devotion that isn't rooted in circumstances but in the goodness of God. Mike Barr will be our preacher. If your life and health allow, grab a mask and join us in person this week. We can't wait to see you.
Mike Barr is our preacher and grace is our topic. Apostolic grace is an empowerment given to Christ’s church. Paul tells us in Ephesians 3 what apostolic grace is and its purpose for the church. Come join us as we discover why that same grace is just as essential today as it was 2000 years ago.3
