Prayer Is Hard

| September 5, 2021

This Sunday we begin a new series. We'll spend six weeks exploring the call to prayer and what it means for the life of a believer. The first message in the series considers our posture in prayer and how it should be secondary to praying the needs of our heart, and how that idea applies to both personal and corporate prayer. See you Sunday!

Focus

| August 9, 2020

Last Sunday, we talked about rebuilding trust, the "power leg" that pushes us out of the starting block. This week, we will talk about PPE (personal prayer engagement!), which gives us focus and direction as we prepare to launch out into the race. We'll cover several creative ways of praying, including intercession, centering prayer, and love-exchange prayers.

How To Pray In The Pandemic

| May 24, 2020

Most of us talk about prayer more than we actually pray (if that's you, its okay to admit it). And for most of us, that's because we don't really know how to pray (and if that's also you, its okay to admit it). Not knowing actually puts us in decent company. The disciples also asked Jesus to teach them how to pray.

And if we don't know how to pray on our good days, then oh my! how much harder is it to pray during a pandemic? If you're struggling to know how to pray or what to pray, this Sunday's message is for you. We'll talk about how to pray when things are hard, and how to hear the voice of God. Friends, God does hear our prayers. Let's lean in and learn to pray effectively.Pray
