We Go Together – NextGen Sunday
Our goal this Sunday is to bridge the gap between Matthew and 1 Corinthians, we will do that by taking a look at how Acts calls us to live into community. Last week, Chris challenged us to “Take a leap of faith and live into the resurrection, which reshapes family, purpose, and presence”. Church, we are taking the leap into the resurrected life, and where we go…We Go Together, and we can only go together through the power and grace of the Holy Spirit.

There are certain watershed moments in each of our lives. They are turning points in which much of life forever changes. Graduating high school or college or getting married are powerful moments in which life is altered significantly. The Resurrection of Jesus is the ultimate watershed moment over all of human history. Perhaps this is why we literally divide human history based on before His birth and after it. But how does this watershed moment affect our day to day lives?

Happy New Year! As we start a new year, it's easy to get bombarded with statements like, "New Year, New You." But this week Matthew challenges us to let Jesus discern the deeper things in our souls. It's in letting the Lord discern the deeper places in our souls that we are truly and deeply renewed. We are looking forward to starting this new year with both Jesus and with you. See you Sunday!
